Expressing Opinion

I would like to express my opinion about the picture above. Everyone in that picture was happy. They were happy because that was their first performance in public. They were also proud to be there. That was my band when I was in junior high school. The name was Eleven March. Why Eleven March? You might be wondering about that, could this be formed at eleven of March? But, the answer is no. I don’t know for sure when was my band formed. What I know is, Eleven March is named by our coach. He is Danen, and he is also alumnus from SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda. And, because we were confused to give our band’s name, he named it. Actually, Eleven March was his band’s name, but he said that his band already changed its name.

The history of my band starts from when I had a sound cloud. Sound cloud is kind of social media, and you only can post your recorder. I mean, whatever. If you want to post your voice when you sing, it’s okay, or may be just talk random, it’s okay. It’s free. I used sound cloud, usually just to post when I played piano. So, I recorded it, and post it onto sound cloud. But, actually I also posted my recorder when I sang. But, I think it’s too horrible, so I stop it. Then, Danen heard my recorder when I played my piano. If I’m not mistaken, I was covering My Heart Will Go On. Next, he texted me via BBM and asked me to formed band. So, I was looking for the others person, and I found them. At beginning, we all couldn’t play the music instrument well, but Danen told us to don’t be afraid, because we could learn. So, we were agree to joined the band. 

 I would like to tell you about their name. Start from the left side. She is Ismi, she is my guitarist. She was happy to be there. We were all looking at the MC. The MC was funny, he was talking to us before we started our performance. Next, the second girl after Ismi, she is Mega. She was my vocalist. Then, next to her, he is Naufal. He was my drummer. He is so cute, funny, but sometimes so annoying. But, in that picture he was great. He did his best for our performance that night. 

The last one is, me. I am Ananda and I was keyboardist for that band. I think, I was so cool to wore that outfit. There were so many audiences. Because, that was our really first performance, we felt nervous, and I think that was also my horrible experience, because we didn’t deserve our best. We just delivered one song, and it didn’t play well. It was Sheila On 7’s song. It was Hari Bersamanya. We got wrong beat, when over tune. So, it sounded bad. I felt sorry for that moment. Although, we practiced so hard before that day. It happened because, one day my teacher suddenly asked my friend about band competition because she achieved a letter about band competition. Actually, our band was a secret band. We only show our selves in our farewell party (because we were in the third grade). But, my friend told my teacher that she has a band. So, my teacher asked us to join. She did that without our permission. So, we were forced to join. But, that picture remind me for the first performance, the first time I showed my self in public. Everyone in that picture was happy. But, you might be think that I was not happy. Actually, I was happy, but I didn’t show it on my face. I kept flat that night. My friends enjoyed that night, but I was not after I realized that we weren’t good at all. 

You might also think, why my keyboard is written SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda. Yea, it was because I had no keyboard, I mean not good enough to perform. So, I decided to borrowed it from school. That picture could be better if I smiled. I was too flat even that moment was funny. That was my first experience. One experience, one better future for me.
